OARS Inputs to Future Orientated Science Education Project

Learning, experience, and findings from the Oxford Argumentation in Religion and Science (OARS) Project are contributing to guiding future research in science education. This month, team members shared experience and learning from OARS with the European-wide project team of a new Horizon 2020 funded called FEDORA (Future-oriented Science EDucation to enhance Responsibility and engagement in the society of Acceleration and uncertainty).

The FEDORA team drew on the experience of the OARS project in exploring issues of multi-/inter-/trans-disciplinarity for future-orientated science education over two technical meetings on 25th January and 1st February 2021. These were attended by Prof. Sibel Erduran and Dr Liam Guilfoyle from the OARS Project Team.
