On 11th Sept 2019, Drs Jessica Chan and Nigel Fancourt of the OARS Project team presented to the Religion, Values and Education Special Interest Group at the BERA Annual Conference in Manchester.
They presented a document analysis of curriculum documents for Religious Education in England which focused on the questions:
- How often is argumentation identified in RE curriculum documents?
- What is the purpose of argumentation in the RE curriculum?
- How is argumentation conceptualised in the RE curriculum?
The presentation was well-received by the BERA community and so we hope we can share the paper, on which the presentation was based, in published-form in the near future! Watch this space!
